Ran Armon is responsible for how we handle personal information.
Course payments are processed by Stripe on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us the details we need to confirm your registration, such as your name, email address, billing details, and the amount paid.
When you visit actionai.ca, cookies and similar tools collect information such as the pages you view, the website that sent you to us, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. See section 5 for details.
We only use your information for these purposes, or for a new purpose we tell you about and, where required, ask your consent for.
We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect, use, and share your personal information with your consent, or where the law allows or requires it.
We only send marketing emails, such as our newsletter, if you have agreed to receive them, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We may still send you emails you need about a course or training you have booked.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. If you do, we may not be able to provide some services, such as a course you registered for.
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We and the tools we use rely on cookies and similar technologies to make the website work, understand how it is used, and measure our advertising. We use:
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the website work.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers that help us run our business, and only what they need to do their job:
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, your information is protected by our agreements with them, but it may also be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by its authorities.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
We sometimes take photos during in-person training sessions and use them on our website and social media. We do not publish the names of the companies we train. If you would prefer not to appear in photos, tell us before or during the session, or contact us afterwards and we will remove any published photo of you.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Payment and financial records are kept for as long as Canadian tax law requires, usually six years. If you unsubscribe from our emails, we keep a record of that so we do not email you again.
We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information, and we choose service providers that take security seriously. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to:
To make a request, email info@actionai.ca. We will reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Our courses and training are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on our website.
