Three years ago, I started playing with AI. Back then, the deal was simple: you put text in, you got better text out. Need a quick research summary? Done. Want to polish an email? Easy. It was great — I’m not going to pretend it wasn’t.
But that was the ceiling. And I accepted it.
Something Changed
I always preferred Claude over ChatGPT. Something about the way it thinks, the way it writes — it just felt more natural. More like a conversation with a smart colleague than a search engine with a keyboard.
But lately? Claude didn’t just get better. It graduated into something else entirely.
With tools like Claude Cowork and Claude Code, we’re not talking about a text generator anymore. This is agentic AI — an AI that doesn’t just answer you. It actually does things for you.
It organizes your files. It builds your presentations. It writes your content in your voice. It codes. It researches. It posts.
It’s not your assistant. It’s your coworker.
A New Employee — For Less Than a Dollar a Day
Think about that for a second. A team member that works around the clock, never complains, never calls in sick, and costs you less than your morning coffee.
For small businesses, marketing teams, and individuals trying to do more with less — this is the shift you’ve been waiting for.
You train it once. You invest a bit of time upfront to set up the right skills and teach it how you work. And then it runs on autopilot.
Not Copilot. Autopilot. (Sorry, Microsoft — but you know it’s true.)
Here’s the Meta Part
This blog post? I wrote it. The ideas, the voice, the message — that’s me.
But Claude worked with me to sharpen it, improve it, and then — on its own — created the image, formatted everything, and published it directly to this blog.
I didn’t touch WordPress. I didn’t open Canva. I just had a conversation.
That’s what I mean when I say this is no longer just a text tool. Claude can basically do anything you ask it to — as long as you’ve taken the time to set it up right.
It’s Not Too Late — But Don’t Wait
If you haven’t explored Claude yet, this is your sign. And here’s the thing about AI that I keep noticing: every time we think it’s reached a new ceiling, a whole new set of floors opens up above it.
Three years in and it still feels endless. I think we’ve got another three years before things start to stabilize. Maybe. But not yet.
The best time to start was three years ago. The second best time is today.
